Alan Van Noort – Executive Chairman
B.Juris LLB

Mr Van Noort is a Barrister and Solicitor who was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 1979.  From 1979 to 1991, Mr Van Noort practised law in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in the areas of mining law, public law, mergers and acquisitions and shareholders rights. Since 1991, Mr Van Noort has been involved in the management and administration of publicly listed companies.

 

Ian Allen - Executive Director and Company Secretary
B.Com CA (SA) CA

Mr Allen is a Chartered Accountant. He has experience in senior finance positions in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, South Africa, Egypt and Australia. Mr Allen has worked for multinationals ERG Limited, Inchcape PLC, Dowell Schlumberger Inc, Brambles Ltd and Ernst and Young.

 

Wally Martin - Non Executive Director
Dip. Legal Studies

Mr Martin has had extensive experience at senior management level in both the Government and private enterprise sectors for over 25 years. Mr Martin was the foundation Vice President of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies of WA and has, since 1979, been actively involved as a director of a number of public listed entities. Mr Martin is presently the Managing Director of Strategic Minerals Corporation NL. 

 

Angus Middleton - Non Executive Director

Mr Middleton is a fund manager and former stockbroker who has extensive experience in the capital markets sector in Australia. He is currently a director of SA Capital Pty Ltd, a corporate advisory firm specialising in equity raisings and underwriting, and the managing director of SA Capital Funds Management Limited, an Adelaide based investment fund that has been involved in advising and raising equity for corporations in the form of venture capital, seed capital, private equity, pre-initial public offerings and initial public offerings. Prior to becoming a fund manager, Mr Middleton was a stockbroker for 25 years and a member of the Adelaide Stock Exchange and then the Australian Stock Exchange. Mr Middleton is presently a non-executive director of ASX listed companies Magna Mining NL, Black Ridge Mining NL and Rubianna Resources Limited.

 

Tim Hinton - Corporate Accountant
B.Bus CA

Mr Hinton is a Chartered Accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Accounting and Finance. He has previous experience within public practice and commercial roles in Australia and the UK.
